HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3D Printer Coming Soon!

Aerosport Modeling & Design is proud to announce that their new HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3D Printer is coming soon! This new capability allows Aerosport to continue providing the highest-quality prototypes as well as now providing high-volume production manufacturing with several styles of finishing. HP’s groundbreaking Multi-Jet Fusion technology will allow Aerosport to produce over 50,000 end-use parts a week out of a very durable Nylon PA12 material. — From the prototype to the finished product with Aerosport Modeling & Design –

This new Multi-Jet Fusion technology will allow faster prototyping and short-run production with end-use part material reliability. This production style is considerably faster than the other additive manufacturing options or traditional manufacturing methods, such as injection molding. We will be able to offer clients a much more cost-efficient path to final production parts while receiving prototype parts in the end-use material from the beginning of the design process.


Better Quality, Speed, Cost and Control

Leveraging decades of research and expertise in precision mechanics, microfluidics and materials sciences, HP has developed a system that can control part properties voxel by voxel (a voxel is the 3D printing equivalent of a pixel). This level of control means extreme precision and optimal mechanical properties in producing fully functional prototypes and final parts, and will reinvent manufacturing in the future.

Our New SLA Machine Just Completed It’s Largest Build Yet.

Our Union Tech RSPro 600 SLA machine at Aerosport Modeling just completed it’s largest build to date! We use DSM Somos EvolVe 128 resin in this large platform machine. With a build platform measuring 600x600x500mm (23.6×23.6×19.6″) we are able to build large items like this in one piece. This resin gives us the ability to produce tough, funtional prototypes that can implement snap-fit features and design techniques. We at Aerosport, specialize in the highest quality prototypes and can take your prototypes and presentation pieces to a whole new level. Combining our 3D CAD/Solidworks design capabilities and the highest quality 3D printing options in the industry with high-end finishing, we are a one-stop shop for affordable and timely parts. Additional SLA Capacity

Aerosport Modeling has just added additional capacity to our 3D printing department.

We now have a new RSPro 600 SLA machine. We will be running Somos EvolVe in this Machine and it has a build size of 23.6” x23.6” x 20” or 600x600x500 mm. We now have 5 SLA machines and have 6 different Somos resins.

HYDROKINETIC Power Generator going for testing in India
Aerosport has just Shipped the second Hydrokinetic Generator to India for testing in the Chilla Canal. Our client is excited about testing these 2 new units in the environment they were designed for. These units use the canal water flow to turn the generator. Aerosport has been designing and building and testing these units for over 5 years. This is the 6th generation of units we have designed for our client. We have tested these units here in the United States in either a man-made controlled environment or at Lake Barkley in Kentucky. When testing on the lake we had a large Tug boat pull the unit at the correct speed to simulate the Canal in India’s water flow. These units are 36’x24’x12’ and weigh in at 11,000 lbs.
Testing in India should start sometime in June 2017

Cheers to 20 Years!

In September 2016 Aerosport Modeling & Design, Inc. celebrated its’ 20th anniversary with a pig roast for over 125 clients, vendors, family & friends. Music was provided by the local group Bird Shack featuring guitarist Jeff Ciampa. The event was held at the company headquarters in Canal Winchester on a very warm, Indian summer evening.
What a great time it was!
